So, who is Joomstore?

Noah Greenstone

Founder / Project Manager

Project Manager, coder and tech enthusiast for over 20 years. As well as a specialist in search marketing and SEO. Noah has managed over 250 individual web projects for clients ranging from Government agencies to non-profits and small home businesses.

After working in Media in Japan and LA, Noah relocated to Perth and worked as Production Manager for several agencies before co-founding Joomstore.

John Pitchers

Co-founder / Technical lead

John has been building websites for businesses in Perth, and across Australia, since 2001. John is recognised as a niche specialist in the Joomla CMS having worked with Joomla almost exclusively since it's inception in 2005.

Manager of all things technical at Joomstore, John has a belief in constantly learning, growing and adapting with new technologies and methods.

Our story

Joomstore are a digital company based in Perth providing web design and development solutions primarily focused around the Joomla CMS.

Noah Greenstone and John Pitchers are a duo of passionate technologists. Prior to founding Joomstore in 2010, John was working as a freelance developer and Noah was a project manager for a large Perth digital agency.

After working successfully on several projects, we formed Joomstore and while other studios have come and gone in the years since then, we have gone from strength to strength.

What we do

To be successful you have to be a specialist in what you do. We provide web design, development and consultation primarily centred around the Joomla content management system. In fact we've been building solutions on it since it's inception in 2005.

This means, as a client, you get a tailored solution that utilises the full features of the Joomla framework with maximum optimisation, security and reliability.

Whether you need a single page brochure site, ecommerce, multilingual or a fully custom web application it's our knowledge of Joomla, PHP, javascript and the associated technology that enables us to accurately scope, document and build it for you. On time and on budget.

We love solving complex problems with code and care deeply about the quality of our work. We have the experience and the maturity (we are both over 40) to understand your requirements and how they relate to your business.

Unfortunately, for the web industry the entry barriers to starting a business as a service provider are very low. It seems people think that installing Wordpress and an off-the-shelf theme makes you a developer. It does not.

We are constantly amazed at the number of enquiries we receive from organisations who have paid out good money only to end up with a broken or completely unusable website. We get asked to fix the issues or provide some finishing elements. Usually, we need to start from scratch because the work is unacceptable.

Planning projects with clients, providing great design and writing quality code is all we do. Every day. We live and breathe HTML5, Joomla, PHP, jQuery and all the technology that makes your web work.
